Manufacturers and Corporate donors supply the World Vision organization with top-quality products, such as hygiene and household essentials, school and office supplies, clothing, health care and medical items—all aimed at improving the quality of life for families battling poverty. Emerald Towns Alliance purchases memberships in this Essential Supplies Program from World Vision in order to bring those supplies to families in Brinnon and Quilcene.

Each month, our Bluebill volunteers pick up these supplies from the World Vision warehouse in Fife and bring them back to our local warehouse in Brinnon where we sort and catalog items into a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is emailed to the Brinnon and Quilcene Schools, Community Centers, Food Banks, Churches, and other community organizations, who let us know which items they can use for the families they serve. The following week, we distribute the items to them per their request.

In 2020, so far, we have distributed tens of thousands of items like disposable face masks, hand sanitizers, disposable wipes, toothpaste, shampoo, vitamins, bottled water, school supplies, office supplies, household goods like kitchen appliances, cleaning supplies, diapers, toilet paper, paper towels, and clothing.
