Our Mission Statement: Emerald Towns Alliance is a nonprofit organization involving community members in fund raising and activities for the benefit of Brinnon And Quilcene
Located on the shores of Hood Canal, the emerald towns of Brinnon and Quilcene are situated in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains. Residents and Visitors enjoy hiking through forests, beachcombing and shellfishing, kayaking, viewing mountain vistas, waterfalls and abundant wildlife. We are home to the Brinnon Shrimpfest which celebrates the Hood Canal Spot Shrimp and other seafood delicacies.
The Brinnon ShrimpFest is a weekend festival located just north of Brinnon celebrating Hood Canal Spot Shrimp and other local seafood.
-ShrimpFest 2021 has been cancelled-
Due to Covid challenges and unforeseen circumstances, 2021 ShrimpFest is cancelled. The sale of shrimp is our primary fundraiser. At the time we were given notice of the delivery of shrimp, we learned the storage freezer was not operational. We were unable to identify enough commercial freezer space.
As a community we are disappointed that we had to cancel the festival. We thank the volunteers, businesses, and schools for their support.
We look forward to ShrimpFest 2022!
